Lol I wrote this funky bass song 'Jubilee' around 30 years ago. I never wrote down or recorded the tune. It was around 1990 and I had a lot of song ideas in my head, excited to live out my music life. I was living at one of my first apartments so silly stuff like food shopping was new to me. I was at our local food store (Marché Richelieu) learning what to buy roommate style. I saw a toilet paper brand called 'Jubilee' and thought the name sounded super funky. I was inspired (lol) so went home and wrote this song. I had no idea what the name meant at the time. Jubilee means a 25, 40, 70 etc... anniversary. So Its fitting to record this so many years later. Regardless of where I went in the world I took this cream 'Ibanez Musician' bass with me. It was my first bass which I got second hand in 1988. My silly little story of the week.
A song about a sandwich. About Reality. Featuring a guitar solo by our friend Barry AKA Dr Naire Numstead.
Audio tracks taken from live jams I performed on The Bass Guy Show over the year 2020. The recordings are not perfect or mastered to all hell etc... These jam sessions on
