I was born in Scotland but left for Montreal Canada when I was four Much later I moved back to my hometown of Perthshire, Scotland in 1995. I went to a music school. One day this older man came to my school during a piano class and said he heard I liked to play music etc... lol. So I ended up jamming jazz with these guys after Kenny Black gave me a year of lessons. Kenny is an amazing person whom I owe so much to. Jim the sax guy played jazz in the 1940's in Scotland, total sweet heart, wise man and real humble ledged in his own right. You can hear that Jim (sax) spent his whole life on music. His tone and feel. Mike on piano did most of the talking here as it was his project. Mike was so kind and a great musician. I was lucky to have jammed with these wonderful kind guys. Always respect your elders and learn from them. Just a fun wee jam recorded on a tape cassette deck.
I have a flight case of tapes from 1994 to 2004. More lo-fi tapes like this coming soon.
