My father William (Bill) Casey. Some recordings made from home for fun.

I tried to get my dad to record some music near the end of his life. He passed away in November 2011.

Bill was a husband and father of four boys. He lived in Scotland and Montreal, Canada. He was an A+ level mechanic in Montreal from the late 70s to the early 90s. He moved back to Pethshire Scotland in 1994 and eventually back to where he was born, right near Perth Royal Infirmary.

Bill Played the guitar, bass, drums, penny whistle, harmonica and dobro. He was a soulful singer and on a few occasions could silence a room with a ballad.

He took his kids on runs (drives) every weekend as he had a love for history. He was also into physics, crosswords puzzles, cooking, nature, bike rides and loved to listen to music beyond words.

I still have never met anyone that LOVED listening to music more than Bill. He was constantly overwhelmed by how beautiful music was.

Bills claim to fame was opening up for The Kinks as a teen. His band The Merjers played all over Scotland and the UK.
